Dear Diary;

Today I got up and went to work. After work I went to school. Then I came home and went to bed.

I did some other things in between all that. I managed to finish my book Nana by Emile Zola. It was a very interesting book. It was about a courtesan in Paris. She started out with nothing and eventually had everything she asked for. The ending wasn't very happy but the book was very good. Emile Zola has a good way of conveying the images of life back then to the reader. It helped build sympathy for the characters.

Work was a little frustrating. I need to be making some serious progress but I'm having tool issues and vision problems. It doesn't help that I have some stupid meeting or another to go to several times a day either. I didn't let it get to me too bad. I just kept reminding myself it is just a job and the work will be there tomorrow too. I did speak with my manager, the real one, about moving to a different group after this project. I also mentioned going to India. I'm not sure if I can do the second part.

School was fine. I learned about the "awk" command yesterday. I also worked on my final. I've made a lot of progress towards finishing it early. I kind of need to work ahead because I don't think I'll get much done during Gorgefest.

That's all for today. I need to get some rest.

That's all for today. Good night.

Tom
